Clinicians Del-Immune V is a unique formula made from a special strain of lactic acid producing bacteria called Lactobacillus rhamnosus. This particular organism has a very important function in our intestine, namely the role of developing and maintaining our immune system throughout life. Del-Immune V works by supporting the innate or primary immune system as well as acquired immune system which is involved in antibody production. It also supports the synthesis of important proteins called cytokines (specifically interferon gamma, tumour necrosis alpha, interleukin-1 and interleukin-6). Del-Immune V also supports the production of natural killer cells, T and B lymphocytes which are the body's main defence mechanisms. Recommended Dose: For immediate support: 2 capsules morning and night for four days. Thereafter 2 capsules daily for at least 5 days. Maintenance dose: 1 or more capsules daily. For severe viral infections: 3 capsules three times a day for two days, then reduce to 2 capsules morning and night until symptoms alleviate.
