| Dosage/Usage | Adults spray 2-4 times directly onto the sore/inflamed area and swallow gently. Repeat every 1 - 3 hours as necessary. Children 6-12 years spray 2 times directly onto the sore/inflamed area and swallow gently. Repeat every 1 - 3 hours as necessary. Not recommended for children under 6 years. After use the nozzle should be wiped with a tissue to prevent blockage. |
| Precautions | Incorrect use can be harmful. Always read the label. Use only as directed. Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed 7 days unless under medical supervision. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice. Avoid contact with the eyes. A harmless superficial discolouration of the teeth may occur with prolonged use of products containing chlorhexidine. The clinical efficacy of an antiseptic agent in oral solutions in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
