Phenergan is a long acting Antihistamine which can be used to relieve the symptoms of Allergic disorders including hayfever, Allergic rhinitis, urticaria (Hives), and allergic reactions to Insect bites and Stings.
It can also be used as a sedative and for travel sickness.

Main Ingredients Phenergan Elixir contains 5mg promethazine per 5ml
Dosage/Usage The doseage for Allergic Disorders is 2-5 years: 5ml to 15ml at night, and 5ml 2 to three times daily.For 6-12 years the dose is 10ml-25ml at night ,and 10ml ,2 to 3 times daily.

As a sedative, Phenergan can be dosed at 2-5 years 5ml to 15ml at night, 6-12 years: 10ml to 25ml at night.

For Travel sickness and Nausea the doseage of Phenergan is 2-5 years: 5ml and 6-12 years: 10ml every 4 to 6 hours.
Precautions This medicine may cause drowsiness and affect the ability to drive a vehicle.

Avoid alcohol.

The safety of Phenrgan Elixir in under 2 year olds has not been established, therefore, should only be given to this age group under medical supervision.
